Patty Moeling

Before moving to Athens, Georgia in February 2019 Patty Moeling taught private flute and piccolo lessons for 19 years in the Houston and Katy, Texas school districts. She also served as the flute coach for the Houston Youth Symphony.

Patty received her BFA from UW-Milwaukee and MM from Wichita State, Wichita, Kansas. She also completed course work toward her DMA at University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS.

She has performed as a soloist and in small chamber ensembles, musical theater, touring ensembles, and summer and winter festivals in Park City, Utah and Sitka, Alaska, to name a few.

Patty is a founding member of Arts Intersect Athens, a musician’s collective that will soon collaborate with The Lyndon House Arts Center in children’s programming.
